Questions
What happens if my plan lapses?
Nothing you already locked is affected. Every folder keeps opening on every device, and people you shared with keep their access. You just can't protect more than one folder of your own, or share with someone new, until you renew.
Personal or Team?
Personal is for your own folders and a few people you trust. You own every folder, and you take access back one person at a time.
Team is for a business. Folders belong to the team, not to whoever made them, and any admin can manage them. When someone leaves, one removal locks their devices and gives a new key to every folder they could open, while everyone else carries on.
How do Team seats work?
Everyone on the team takes a seat, including you, so 3 seats cover you and two colleagues. Team starts at 3 seats and is $9 per seat a month, or $90 per seat a year. Change your seat count in the billing portal linked from the app's Plan settings. Removing a person frees their seat straight away.
Do the people I share with need to pay?
No. Opening a folder someone shared with you is free, on any plan, on any device. They need a free ZapQR account to sign in.
Does one plan cover all my devices?
Yes. The plan belongs to your ZapQR account, not to a device or a store. Buy it once on a Mac, iPhone, Android phone or the web and it applies everywhere you sign in.
How do I cancel?
Where you bought it. App Store purchases are managed in your Apple Account subscriptions, Google Play purchases in Play subscriptions, and web purchases in the billing portal linked from the app's Plan settings.
Why is the yearly price different on the web?
App stores price in their own steps and take a share of every sale. On the web, Personal is $49 a year; in the App Store and Google Play it's $49.99. Web prices are before tax, which is added at checkout where it applies.
